Background information on motorhome conversions

A standard van with internal furniture, often with a high top or lifting roof and rear door step. Normally identified by steel sides and steel rear doors.
Please note that standard towbars designed for the base vehicle often fit this type of motorhome.

A chassis cab with an aluminium or GRP 'caravan style' body fitted onto the chassis and over the top of the drivers’ cab. Normally the chassis has extensions bolted to it to support the rear of the caravan body.

An 'A' Class where the drivers cab is removed and an aluminium or GRP 'caravan style' body encloses the whole vehicle.
